My Favorite North Fork Coffee Shops

I did it!! Today, I had my first cup of coffee in over a year. Can you believe it?! On Jan 1, 2019, I decided to not drink coffee for an entire year. I can’t believe I made it without even a sip! I’m so proud of myself for accomplishing this. My coffee intake got so bad towards the end, I really needed this break. I’ll be honest, I did miss it … A LOT! I’m happy to be back, but this time around I made myself a promise to be more conscious about my intake. Stepping back into the coffee world was a really big moment! I wanted my first cup to be really, REALLY good. As suspected, I had trouble choosing where to go. There are so many delicious coffee shops on the North Fork!

Here’s a round up of my favorite North Fork coffee shops, in alphabetical order, as I really cannot decide which one to put first. They are all so good!

Aldo’s Coffee Company

All organic coffee and the best pick me up in town. If you need a jolt of energy, Aldo’s coffee is the place to go. His shop screams old world and Aldo himself is quite the character. Not to mention the homemade baked biscotti and delicious scones are to die for! 103-105 Front Street / Greenport

D’Latte Cafe & Bakery

Excellent spot to sit outside in the sunshine while enjoying a sweet treat and cup of coffee. Bring your kids too because their gelato and baked goods are amazing! And in the colder months, they have the BEST homemade soup. 218 Main Street / Greenport

North Fork Roasting Company

Also known as “Nofo Roco.” When you drive along the Main Road, it’s hard to not stop at NoFo RoCo. Their coffee smell wafts out to the neighborhood, and boy is it enticing! This is a great place to hang out with friends and listen to live music on the weekends. The food is healthy and delicious as well. And best of all, they welcome four-legged friends! 55795 Main Rd. / Southold

Hampton Coffee Company

If you’re tired from the long drive out to the North Fork, then this is the perfect location to stop for a cup of coffee. It’s a short distance away from the end of the expressway and it sits right at the entrance to the North Fork. Besides their delicious coffee and espresso, they also have a cafe, bakery, and juice bar. Breakfast & lunch are served all day, and you can eat on their outdoor patio or out back at a picnic table in a farm field.  272 Main Rd. / Aquebogue

Scoops & Grinds

Looking for a seasonal Latte or sweet treat!? Then this is the coffee shop for you! They pair their pastries and treats so nicely with their coffee drinks. It’s a fun little shop with a mix of old and new… tiled floors, wicker chairs, an old butter churner and coffee grinders. They also make tasty açai bowls and yummy avocado toast. 31000 Main Rd. / Cutchogue

And there you have it! A list of my favorite coffee stops on the North Fork. I’m always looking for new favorite spots. If I missed one, let me know in the comments below.
